Bowls teams brave the cold

COMPETITION was tough but it was fellowship that won the day at the Warwick Bowls Club Gala Triples yesterday.

Ladies from Tannymorel, Warwick East, Tenterfield, the Summit, Stanthorpe, Clifton and Killarney, as well as representatives from the host club, gathered for a day of bowls.

Twelve teams braved the cold wind to battle it out on the green.

Runners up were Muriel Lynch, Judith Cutmore and Dawn McLennan.

But the winners of the day were one of the home teams, made up of Mary Cunning, Kath Kelly, Vicki Howes and Trish Collins.
