Warwick carer loses licence for drink driving

A MAN caring for his elderly grandmother has lost his licence for drink driving.

Harley Grant James Brown was pulled over by on Rosehill Rd early New Years Day, and recorded a 0.084 BAC.

Police also discovered the 25-year-old was unlicensed, nor had ever held a licence.

"I was just stupid," Grant said as he fronted Warwick Magistrates Court yesterday.

Magistrate Robert Walker agreed, fining the Warwick man $800 and disqualifying him from obtaining a licence for seven months.

"You were presenting as a serious risk to road users," Mr Walker said.
