Warwick Cowboys Rodeo postponed due to rain

THE Warwick Cowboys Rodeo scheduled for this Friday night has been postponed in light of the weather conditions.

It is expected the rodeo will now be held at the end of the current rugby league season.

The major event was to be the Adam Merrell Memorial Open Bull Ride and the Cowboys will now hold a barbecue and drinks at 6pm Friday so many of the family and friends of Adam in town for the rodeo can catch up with Cowboys members and old mates from Warwick.

All are welcome to the barbecue.

The Daily News four-page feature on the rodeo will be in Friday's print edition and will include photos on many of the players, the A-grade team, the draw for the rest of the season and talk about the club's hopes in addition to information on a rodeo which has now been postponed.
