Warwick Fight Tournament is shaping up as a beauty
BOXING: The Warwick Fight Tournament at WIRAC on Saturday promises to be a raging success with 18 boxers already matched.
The event is a joint Warwick Boxing Club/Rose City Boxing Club initiative and Rose City trainer Damien Lawler already has nine matches organised.
"There is no need to pre-match but we have done it to ensure the success of the night,” he said.
"A number of additional boxers will be matched on the night.”
He expects 30 fights from 2pm until well into the night. Admission is $15 adults, $10 children and free for children under 10.
