Warwick girls netball team running second in state champs

THE Warwick 15 years team under coach Derek Kane is currently second in their division at the State Age Championships at Mudgeeraba.
The team won six of its first eight games and play leaders Jimboomba in their final game today and can secure a top-two finish with a win.
In the 14 years division under coach Codie Brackin, Warwick recorded one win and narrowly lost their other six games on the first two days of the carnival.
The Warwick 13 years division under coach Kerri Shooter has had four wins and four losses so far.
"They are putting in a great effort and improving as the weekend goes on," Shooter said.
All teams will play a minimum two games today.
