Warwick in form for reserve grade

RUGBY LEAGUE: Warwick primed their form for the President's Cup final in reserve grade with a 48-4 victory against Highfields on Sunday.

The win puts Warwick at the top of the table with 18 points, nine wins from 10 games, one win ahead of its cup final opponent Gatton.

Warwick has the best for-and-against in the reserve-grade competition with 384 points for and 150 against.

On Sunday, the Cowboys beat Highfields 48-4 after leading 20-0 at halftime.

Coach Craig Mullaly has the team primed for the final which will be the main curtain raiser on Sunday to the Madsen Rasmussen Trophy final between Gatton and Wattles.

Pittsworth will play Highfields in the under-18 President's Cup final. Sixth-placed Warwick pushed second-placed Highfields on Sunday only going down 22-16.
