Warwick in junior polocrosse final at state titles
POLOCROSSE: Warwick has qualified for the junior A final at the Queensland Polocrosse Championships at Wandoan.
In the final today, Warwick will play Wandoan.
Warwick beat Cunningham in juniors at the state championships after going down by one goal in the three previous games between the two clubs.
In the juniors, Warwick beat Chinchilla in one semi and Wandoan beat Tansey in the other.
In the mixed A grade competition, Tansey 1 and Tara will play the final.
Tara beat Warwick in one semi and Tansey 1 beat Tansey 2 in the other. Today's final will be the first at state A-grade level for Tara.
Tansey and Wandoan will play in the open final. One day 1, Warwick went down to Bauhinia.
In the semi finals, Tansey beat Chinchilla and Wandoan beat Bauhinia.
There was 25mm rain on Friday night and some teams withdrew early Saturday but the vast majority played on for what has been an outstanding weekend of polocrosse.
