Tower Challenge: kids set their sights high
WARWICK kids are being encouraged to set their sights sky-high for the Rose City Shoppingworld's Timber Tower Challenge.
Using a unique brand of building blocks, called Kapla, visitors to the centre can compete in a four-minute Timber Tower Challenge or sit down and create their own masterpiece.
Organiser John Walton said he brain stormed the idea four years ago.
"It's all about exposing kids to not working with plastics or batteries," he said.
"For me it's all about kids using their imaginations."
Mr Walton said it's a 'must see' for kids.
The Timber Tower Challenge is free and will run in the Shoppingworld centre outside Woolworths, today and tomorrow from 10am-1pm.
Each day the child who builds the tallest tower will win $200 worth of Kapla blocks.
