Warwick lads lead the way

WARWICK back Dan Murphy scored a try and landed three goals in the Norths Devils 22-16 away victory against Wests Panthers in FOGS Cup.

Murphy, Ben Sullivan and Dylan Galloway all played their first senior football with the Warwick Cowboys and played FOGS Cup together for the second time this season on Saturday.

Sullivan scored a try from halfback against Wests to give Warwick players 14 of the 22 points.

Galloway has played two games since returning from a knee reconstruction.

Norths official Mick Whalley said all three former Cowboys were holding their own.

"We have moved Dan Murphy from halfback to fullback and he is performing well. When he matures, he will play five-eighth or halfback."

"All three have played Queensland Cup, they are young and will play more cup."

Norths are third, two points behind leaders Redcliffe, which includes Warwick winger Josh Jerome.
