Warwick man blames cousin for stolen tools

A MAN has told a Warwick Magistrate that stolen goods were found at his house because of his tricky cousin.

Ricky Schubert pleaded guilty to possessing stolen tools, but said his cousin dropped them at his home then took off.

Police raided Schubert's home, after his neighbours were broken into.

Magistrate Bevan Manthey heard out the 41-year-old's story of how his cousin possibly stole the tools and left them at his home.

"So it was all your cousin's fault?" Mr Manthey asked.

Schubert nodded.

He was fined $600 and Mr Manthey ordered the stolen goods be forfeited.
