Warwick's tribute to Darling Downs teen killed in crash
WARWICK has joined in paying tribute to the family of rising Toowoomba football star Lachlan Percy, killed in a car crash at the weekend.
Lachlan was returning home from the South West Queensland Thunder's presentation night when the car he was in lost control and crashed into a tree.
The crash happened on the New England Hwy on the outskirts of Toowoomba.
Lachlan debuted with the Thunder's senior side in 2014, playing in the Queensland Premier Leagues.

He was a "prominent and well-respected member" of the club's youth mean's team, according to the club.
After the shock death, the Warwick District Football Association paid its respects on Facebook.
"From the entire Warwick District Football Association community, our deepest condolences go out to the Percy family, friends, team mates and the SWQ Thunder FC during this very tragic time."

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers or their local police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
