Warwick police praise schoolies

WARWICK police has praised schoolies after a successful operation at the weekend.

Officer in charge Jamie Deacon said the results were encouraging, with drivers being well behaved and polite.

Senior Sergeant Deacon said 538 random breath tests with no positive results.

Out of 18 random drug tests, six returned positive results resulting in charges.

The operation also intercepted four unlicensed drivers and four people charged with other drug-related offences.
