Warwick residents left to dispose of their own storm debris

RESIDENTS will have to clean up and dispose of their own storm debris, with the Southern Downs Regional Council advising it won't be collecting waste from private properties.

The council will only be picking up trees on streets affected by the storms, leaving residents to take storm debris to the tip.

Residents are being advised they should take their green waste and other debris to Waste Transfer and Management facilities across the Southern Downs.

For more information, residents can phone the council on 1300 MY SDRC (1300 697 372).
