Sheep markets continue firm pace of 2015

WARWICK Selling Agents yarded 625 lambs and hoggets, and 230 sheep at the weekly sale yesterday.

Top lambs account Jon Henry of Warwick sold for $141.

In a small yarding of both sheep and lambs, the market was firm on last sale of last year.

Market quotations:

 Crossbred lambs 46-55kg from $126-$141

 Crossbred lambs 42-45kg from $118-$140

 Crossbred lambs 36-42kg from $114-$132

 Crossbred lambs 35-40kg from $100-$110

 Crossbred hoggets 41.4kg to $90 shorn
