Warwick tennis has fun plans for Australia Day

TENNIS: Budding tennis players or those just keen for a bit of fun are welcome to a Warwick Tennis Association Fun Day at the courts in Fitzroy St on Thursday.

Association members will provide information on this year's activities and events at 4-6pm. There will be free coaching and activities at this time at the courts opposite Warwick East State School.

President Nathan Costello said use of the courts would be free all day.

"Players are welcome to use the courts from 8am. There is an hourly charge but the courts will be free for everyone on Australia Day,” Costello said.

The association is also keen to encourage schools to be involved with tennis.

"If enough interest is shown, Tennis Queensland coaches will visit,” he said.

Schools interested in tennis can call Costello on 0403630510
