ONCE again the Daily News Facebook audience has made their choice.
This time we asked for Warwick's favourite wedding photographer and Peta Murphy quickly flashed to the front and stayed there.
Mrs Murphy of Weddings and Events Warwick was understandably thrilled.
"I was really surprised and honoured by the response," she said.
"Because I put so much time and effort into my job, it's really humbling to be recognised.
"I live and breathe weddings."
Mrs Murphy said she appreciated the time people took to stop and think of her.
"That's really nice and pretty exciting," she said.
"It's so easy to see something on Facebook and just keep scrolling, so thank you."
Mrs Murphy said wedding planning and photography had become more than "just a job".
"I've made some really good friends through my work," she said.
"In some cases I spend a year with a bride-to-be getting ready for a wedding.
"We'll be in constant contact, planning and talking through every aspect.
"I get to see people at their best and at such a happy time in their lives."
Mrs Murphy said it was also a honour to share that experience with someone.
"To be chosen to be a part of their special day is also very special to me," she said.
"It's such a huge part of their lives."
Mrs Murphy started out running a fabric shop with her mother in Noosa, winning interior design contracts for resorts and hotels in the area.
"We also did some interior design jobs for a few wedding planners, and I knew then that was what wanted to do," she said.
"Later, when I got married in Warwick, I saw a market for the type of business I wanted to run - a complete, one-stop wedding service.
"So I do it all; from decorations to the floristry to photography."
Mrs Murphy said the photography side began as a hobby.
"I acted as a second photographer at my brother's wedding about five years ago and absolutely loved it," she said.
"Later, I put those pictures up on Facebook and was immediately booked for another wedding.
"Honestly, I was a little daunted and hadn't expected that, but it was a success and things have taken off from there."
Mrs Murphy said different brides wanted different levels of the service she offers.
"Some want me to organise everything, others just hire me to take their photos," she said.
"I put in a lot of preparation when I know I'll be shooting a wedding.
"I'll go out and scope out the location and venue and look for those timeless shots.
"I'll try to find that beautiful backdrop or see where the sunset will be."
Mrs Murphy said it could be a high-pressure job.
"I need to be able to think on my feet and read the moments and capture them, but in the end everyone is so happy and shooting weddings is just so much fun.
"I really love my job."
