Warwick wins against Carlton teams

WARWICK scored a 6-0 victory against Carlton in men's football at CF White Oval at Stanthorpe.

The game finished under lights at 6pm yesterday.

Jayden Webb and Dan King both had great games and the Davey brothers, Rob and Cameron, had their ever reliable games.

King scored two goals, Rob Davey, Webb, Matt Carey and Josh Jordan were the other scorers.

Warwick maintains its lead in the competition.

The Warwick colts won 9-0 against Carlton to maintain their unbeaten record this season. Sam McLennan scored three for the winning colts side.

Tom Aspinall and Ashur Perkins scored two each for Warwick with Josh Manwaring and Ben O'Dea netting one each.

In the women's game, Warwick won 4-0.

Louise Rolfe scored all four goals for Warwick in a season where she has often found the back of the net.

Despite a wet Friday night, junior fixtures went ahead on Saturday in conditions some described as pleasant for footy.
