Warwick Wolves Academy to show what they've got

THE Warwick Wolves Academy boys and girls will showcase their skills in curtain-raisers to the first senior football games of the season tomorrow.

The academy has been set up under the direction of Tim Gaske and includes regular training sessions and there are plans for games this season against other academy teams.

Tomorrow, the Warwick academy players will do battle in an U8 vs U9 game.

There will be a game for teams from the U10/11 and U12/13/14 academy age groups on the seniors pitch.

Academy players will need to arrive at 10.30am for an 11am start. The canteen will be open and there will be a sausage sizzle.

Warwick will then play three games in the Stanthorpe association competition against City.

It will be colts at 1pm followed by the women's and men's games.

Derek Kane is the Warwick women's coach and Jon Pearson will coach the other two teams.

Admission is free to all Warwick football games.

Junior fixtures will start on the first Saturday in May.
