Warwick Wolves colts maintain second place

FOOTBALL: The Warwick Wolves colts have maintained second place in the competition with a 4-2 win against Willow City.

The game was played under lights at Queens Park in Warwick.

Willow City led 2-1 at the break but Warwick stormed home to win 4-2.

Before the weekend fixtures, Warwick was two points ahead of the third-placed team.

While the colts play Highfields on Friday night at Highfields, the two Warwick men’s team and the women’s team all have home game on Saturday starting with the women’s game at 3pm at Queens Park.

All three senior Warwick teams had a bye this weekend.

Warwick is third on the women’s ladder, fourth in the men’s competition and sixth in men’s reserves.
