Warwick’s got talent for Music Interlude program

ACCLAIMED singer Mark Vincent will perform in Warwick as part of the Music Interlude alongside former local Dr James Cuskelly.

The Australia's Got Talent winner will entertain guests at Warwick Town Hall on Sunday, March 23, to raise funds for MontroseAccess, a charity supporting children with a disability in Warwick and throughout Queensland.

MontroseAccess fundraising manager Leanne Liesegang said the entertaining afternoon would also showcase local talent.

"Mark will sing with local performers and the Queensland Kodaly Choir conducted by Dr James Cuskelly," Ms Liesegang said.

Dr Cuskelly was born and bred in Warwick. He was the eighth son in a family of nine boys and attended St Mary's for his early schooling, the Christian Brothers from Years 5-10 and completed senior schooling at Warwick State High School.

He went on to study at the University of Queensland completing a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Education in 1985.

Dr Cuskelly is committed to teacher training in music education, and consequently, is frequently asked to lead teacher in-service programs and workshops, and to present as guest lecturer, keynote speaker and clinician at both the national and international levels.

He is widely published in music education circles, particularly in the area of music education and meaning. His passion for music, and his ability to enthuse and bring about effective learning in students across all ages or abilities in now firmly internationally recognised.
