A MASSIVE blaze burnt about 40 hectares of land south of Warwick yesterday and came within 20 meters of two dwellings.

Ean Harvey managed to capture incredible footage of the blaze billowing smoke above town yesterday afternoon as he drove down the New England Highway.

Mr Harvey said he took the footage about 12.29pm, not long after the huge blaze began.

Thankfully the fire was contained by about 6.30pm last night but it was still burning this morning with crews due to return to the scene.
