BEST friends have been made, favourite lunches have been found and they've already learned some intriguing facts.

Warwick Preps at St Mary's Primary School have only been at school for a few weeks but they've already settled into new routines like they've been doing it for years.

The Daily News checked in to see how the new students were travelling and to find out what they loved most about the start of their education.

For some, it was Lego and play time. For others, learning letters and numbers were their favourite things to do in the classroom.
