DAVID Littleproud has finally made his maiden speech as the new Parliament gets to work.
The new Maranoa representative spoke about his love for and personal history with the region, and spoke at length about his hopes and goals for his time in Parliament.
On his facebook page, Mr Littleproud said it was truly a great honour to stand in this nation's 45th Parliament.
"It's a great honour representing the people of Maranoa as their 10th representative," Mr Littleproud said.
"Maranoa is home to some of the most resilient, hard-working and resourceful people and it is an honour to serve them and ensure that Maranoa is an electorate of opportunity."
