Water Rats add teams for DD women's sevens

RUGBY UNION: The Warwick Water Rats are looking for new players - male and female - to join the club for 2017 Darling Downs Rugby Union competition.

Girls may be interested in becoming part of the fastest growing sport in the world.

The Warwick Water Rats are happy to announce the club intends to enter a women's sevens side in the newly-formed competition in the Darling Downs region with professional paths established to represent your region, state and nation.

The club hopes to field female teams for under 13, U15, U17 and open age groups.

There are also sevens competitions for boys in U13, U15 and U17.

The Water Rats men hope for another strong showing after a solid performance in 2016 in B grade.

Training is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30pm at Risdon Oval.

Feel free to message the club on Facebook page, Warwick Rugby Union Club, or call head coach Vladimir 0421981970 or club president Andrew Williams 0429004299
