Water Rats select the same 15 for USQ game today

RUGBY UNION: It will be all hands on deck when the Warwick Water Rats head to USQ for a rugby B-grade fixture game today at 1.30pm.

The game will be before the A-grade game between USQ and UQ Gatton at 3pm.

Warwick coach Vlad Savovski said his side would be at full strength.

"We will field the same team which beat Goondiwindi and expect to have at least five players on the bench,” he said.

Savovski said the three-quarter line of inside centre Jason Sharman, outside centre Tom Winter and wingers Adrian Paaka and Nathan Walker had improved dramatically in the past month.

"Michael Hauff has been helping our outside back at training,” Savovski said.

"Flyhalf Max Hall had his best game for the club against Goondiwindi and we are hoping he can back it up this week.”

The Warwick women travel to Dalby to play a round robin against Dalby and Goondiwindi.

Warwick is in the top four in the first season of Darling Downs women's sevens.

Coach Lauren Quinlan had 12 players at training on Thursday night and expects to travel to Dalby for two games against each opposition team.
