HorsePower with Gerard Walsh
TOOWOOMBA rider Ben Palmer will be the one to watch at the Wattles Rodeo at Clifton from 6pm Saturday.
Former junior rugby league player Scott Keogh is organising the rodeo and there are three bull rides on the program as well as pony bareback, a celebrity bullock ride and rides for the kids.
Ben Palmer has won a second-division bull ride at the Warwick Rodeo and will be one of the favourites in the open bull ride.
Budding rugby league players are welcome to attend a free two-hour clinic with Steve Matai, Travis Burns and helpers at 2.30pm today.
Nationals rev up
IF you want to see fast cars in action for free, head to Morgan Park Raceway this weekend for the Queensland and Australian Super Sprint Championships.
Sprint racing is all about time, it isn't about being first across the line.
