Weapons, child porn seized in drug raids

A MAJOR drug bust on the Southern Downs has uncovered a drug lab, weapons and child pornography.

Earlier this week police swarmed on properties in Goondiwindi, Talwood, Yelarbon and Inglewood, executing 32 search warrants as part of Operation North CHARGRIN.

Thirty-three people were charged with 68 drug-related offences.

One drug lab was found and is being dismantled by ILIT officers from Brisbane.

Four people were charged with supplying both amphetamine and cannabis, while another two were charged with producing a dangerous drug.

More people are expected be charged in coming days.

New South Wales police also executed a number of warrants in the Boggabilla and Toomelah areas.
