Forecast says frost will chase rain away

WITH parts of Warwick receiving up to 10mm yesterday, residents will breathe a sigh of relief knowing the miserable weather will disappear this weekend.

Weatherzone meteorologist Ben McBurney said the forecast was for no rain, but for frosts on the weekend.

"Frost patches are expected around Warwick. There is no expected rain for at least a week," Mr McBurney said.

Today the temperature is expected to reach a low of 2 degrees with a top of 16, with the likelihood of a frost and a foggy morning.

"The reason for the temperature this weekend is because of the high pressure system and thick cloud cover, leading to colder nights," Mr McBurney said.

Tomorrow is meant to have a low of -2 degrees with a high of 16, with a high probability of frost.

The temperature on Monday is expected to reach a low of 0 degrees and a top of 15, with a high probability of a frost.

Tuesday is expected to reach a low of 0 degrees with a top of 14.
