WEEK AHEAD: Warwick's weather rollercoaster

SOME reasonable falls last night are just a sign of things to come according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

Warwick had falls of 11mm as the rains came down between midnight and 2am and more of the same is forecast this afternoon and tomorrow.

BOM predicts the chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon and evening with possible heavy falls.

The temperature today is expected to reach 30 degrees.

Tomorrow there is a 90 per cent chance of rain for the region and thunderstorms are likely as well.

The outlook for Tuesday is much the same, with showers and storms forecast and a top of 29 degrees.

On Wednesday and Thursday the threat of rain is gone and the temperature will start to rise, with hot and sunny days forecast.

The top for Wednesday is expected to reach 29 with 32 the top for Thursday.

Friday and Saturday will see more showers possible, with temperatures reaching a steamy 34 degrees.
