Where to buy a parma for a farmer around Warwick
NEWS of the drought has touched hearts around the nation and the outpouring of support for struggling farmers has been immense.
Pubs and restaurants around the nation are being called upon to do their bit and a number of venues around Warwick are jumping on board.
The Buy a Bale campaign is running an initiative called Parma for a Farmer, which encourages pubs, hotels and restaurants around the country to donate funds from parmy sales to Buy a Bale.
The money goes towards buying desperately needed feed for farmers who are watching their paddocks turn to dust.
If you'd like to help, here are a few places around Warwick who have gotten on board with the initiative.
1. Clippers Bar and Grill
This venue has pledged to donate $1 from every parmy for the month of August.
Pick up your parmy at 65 Victoria St, Warwick, from Tuesday through Saturday.
2. Yangan Hotel Motel
It may be just outside Warwick, but this pub has raised the bar and is donating $2 from every parmy AND chicken schnity sold towards Buy a Bale this month.
Pick up yours at 13 King St, Yangan, any day of the week.
3. Horse and Jockey Hotel Motel Warwick
The H&J will also be giving $1 to support the Buy a Bale foundation during August.
Visit them this month on the corner of Palmerin and Victoria Sts, Warwick.
