Where to get free coffee all day in Warwick
THERE'S a new place to get your coffee fix in Warwick this weekend, and its tucked inside an old favourite.
The Warwick RSL Club is launching its new coffee shop 'Stories' today, and it will be serving up free coffees all day to celebrate.
RSL spokesperson and former cafe owner Lorraine Dent said the aim is to make the club more family friendly and to give locals another option for getting coffee, especially at night.
"Boutique coffee is on the rise in Warwick, so we wanted to do something special," Ms Dent said.
The RSL Club has invested in a brand new coffee machine and a beautiful timber bar that was made in Stanthorpe.
The barista commanding the new equipment is Emma Frattini, an assumption college graduate who has a passion for hospitality and customer service.
"I'm just really looking forward to getting to meet new people through this job," Ms Frattini said.
When quizzed on Warwick's top coffee order, Ms Frattini didn't miss a beat.
"It would have to be a cappuccino in a mug," she said.
"But a flat white is the close second."
Ms Frattini has three years of experience making coffee, and said the key to a good cup of joe is all in the pour.
'Stories' at the RSL will be open from 11am on Saturday, December 23 and will be offering take away options in the near future.
