Wildcats eye off more Big Q action

WARWICK went down in both games in Big Q basketball last weekend but have the chance when they meet the same USQ teams this weekend.

In the women's game last weekend, USQ won 44-18 against Warwick with captain Salome Green the best player for Warwick.

She travels from Woodenbong in northern New South Wales to play basketball in Warwick.

In the reserve-grade game, USQ beat the Warwick Wildcats 66-41.

Warwick played regular A-grader Josh Cremasco in the reserves game and he was equal top scorer with 10 along with Jess Tumata.

After two weekends off, the Warwick A-grade men's team will play the top of the table clash with USQ at Harristown State High School in Toowoomba at 6.40pm Saturday.

Warwick is unbeaten in A grade after two games. The Wildcats reserve-grade men will again play USQ, this time in Toowoomba at 4pm, with the same teams meeting in the women's comp 5pm Saturday.
