Wilmot kicks eight goals in Wattles A-grade victory.

RUGBY LEAGUE: Halfback Jason Wilmot landed eight goals in the Wattles 36-18 victory against Goondiwindi in A-grade rugby league at Goondiwindi on Saturday night.

It was the second A-grade win of the season for the improving Wattles.

Wattles scored five tries but were able to add to their score with conversions and penalty goals as Wilmot landed eight.

The Tribe brothers starred when Goondiwindi had two teams in the Border Rugby League and now the players are going well in A grade. Tim Tribe scored a try and Adam Tribe landed two goals against Wattles.

Cameron Shannon scored two tries, Wilmot, Harry Fulwood and Michael Duggan one each for Wattles in A grade.

In reserve grade, Goondwindi won 22-16 while it was a 30-all draw in the under-18 game.

Warwick Cowboys play Brothers starting 10.10am today at Glenholme Park in Toowoomba. A grade at 2.30pm.
