GOONDIWINDI Blue is the only undefeated team in the Border Rugby League after round 3 games on Saturday.

In the late game of the double header at Gilbert Oval in front of a large crowd on Saturday night, Goondiwindi Blue won 30-22 against premiers Inglewood.

Prop Sililo Stavenow continued his outstanding form with two tries for Blue.

Halfback Scott Marsh (Blue) and forward Brent Bennett (Inglewood) were the best players on the field.

Tenterfield recorded its first win of the season with a 34-26 victory against the previously undefeated Killarney at Charlie Andrews Oval on Saturday.

Both fullbacks had a field day. Brendan Minns scored three tries for the winners and Michael Marshall notched up 14 points for Killarney.

Goondiwindi Maroon won their first game in the competition 46-16 against Texas. Five-eighth Tim Tribe scored four tries for the winners.

Stanthorpe pair Jason Cobon and Liam Lawton scored two tries each in a 48-22 win against Wallangarra.
