Early morning winter wonderland around the Southern Downs
THE cold snap that has gripped the region over the past week will continue today, with an expected -2 degrees to greet Southern Downs residents as they rise this morning.
Although the day is starting off cooler than yesterday, temperatures should peak a couple of degrees higher than those of yesterday, with a maximum of 15 degrees expected today.
Jumpers and Jazz is due to get under way tomorrow and Mother Nature is certainly trying to add authenticity to the winter festival.
Minimum temperatures over the next four days are not expected to rise above 2 degrees and maximum temperatures are set to average about 15 degrees.

There is a good chance of rain tomorrow and Friday but any falls that do arrive are likely to be minimal amounts.
The weekend is set to bring warmer days, with top temperatures of 17 degrees and sunny skies to follow morning frosts.
