Pools to splash out with admission hikes

People should not complain at these increases.

How much does it cost to build a swimming pool in their own property?

How much does the total ratepayers of these districts pay for the upkeep of these facilities and how much does the region lose?

Two questions that should be asked by all ratepayers.

Let's have a referendum by the people for the people, not just councillors.

I pay and will continue to pay the cost for the WIRAC as it is just like a personal pool without the costs for upkeep.

So once again just ask yourselves is the increase advantageous for all concerned in the district.

Now to the more serious side of the story. It would seem Ms Ferris has missed the fact that the bird is tangled in fishing line, according to the parkrun people and with a hole in its head.

I doubt this bird would be in a good state of health.
