Wolves fired up for top clash
THE Warwick Wolves premier men’s football side is currently sitting equal second on the table and will head to Toowoomba to take on top-of-the-table Willowburn at Willowburn tonight at 8pm.
The whole team is up beat about the game this weekend as it allows them to play under the conditions to which they have become more acclimatised.
The Warwick side is expecting this to be a hard and fast game however the side can’t take anything away from their Willowburn opponents who have had a great start to the 2010 season.
Warwick only expects Willowburn to be stronger now than they were when the Wolves first took them on at the beginning of the fixture season.
A win today will put Warwick into equal first placing on the ladder however that is dependant on the result of the game between current premiers South Hawks and Rockville, which is expected to be a fiery clash.
The Warwick ladies will take on Willowburn tomorrow at noon.
The ladies side has been in great form in the past few weeks with a couple of convincing wins and is currently sitting fourth on the ladder.
Willowburn is currently last so, if the Warwick side maintains its composure again this weekend, a fixtures win should come easily to them.
