Wolves in crucial home games against Willowburn and Gatton
FOOTBALL: The Warwick Wolves will host Willowburn in Saturday night football at Queens Park.
Warwick Wolves president Cameron Davey said the team needed to start winning to make the finals.
"We need to somehow make the finals,” Davey said.
"The Wolves are back to full strength except for Matt Carey who is out for the season with injury.”
Both Cameron and his brother Rob are back from injuries.
Warwick will host a Willowburn team which is second in premier men.
"This game is the first of three home games in succession on the Saturday, Sunday and then finally on the Saturday again,” Davey said.
Warwick won the game at Commonwealth Oval, Toowoomba, in the first round and lost a catch-up midweek game in Warwick so Saturday night's game will be to prove which of the two teams proved to be the best in head-to-head battles this season.
In the 5pm game on Saturday at Queens Park, Warwick plays Gatton Redbacks in senior women's football
There will be no junior football in Warwick for the next three weeks due to the school holidays.
The Warwick 16/17 team plays in the Toowoomba competition each Saturday but has no Toowoomba junior game until July 21 at Harristown at 1.15pm.
Warwick is currently in third place behind West Wanderers and Highfields. Training resumes after the holidays on July 19 for the team.
