Wolves need win to finish first in colts football

FOOTBALL: The Warwick Wolves colts need a win against West Wanderers on Friday night at Queens Park at 7pm to secure the minor premiership in Football Toowoomba fixtures.

Zac Wall will captain the side for the home game in a team where the captaincy is shared around between a leadership group of four.

Coach Tony Cooper said Warwick had recorded two wins and a loss against West Wanderers this season.

"We will be at full strength for the Friday night game at home,” he said.

"Striker Declan Butler has been our best in the past month in his second season in colts for the Wolves in Toowoomba.”

Reserves away

THIS Sunday, the Wolves reserves will be aiming for three wins from three games in clashes against Highfields at Highfields this season.

The team has a number of players with niggling injuries and didn't train this week, but a full team is expected to travel to Highfields for the Sunday afternoon reserves game.

The Wolves premier team has a bye.
