Wolves player loves his two games a weekend in football

FOOTBALL: Sam McLennan played in both the reserve and premier games on Sunday and reckons it is good for his fitness.

McLennan and Dan King scored goals in a Warwick 3-2 loss to Rockville in reserves.

In premier, Warwick trailed 3-0 to Rockville at half-time before going down 4-1.

"We were much more dominant in the second half and reduced the margin to two after Rob Davey netted a penalty from the spot,” McLennan said.

"Warwick had one or two missed chances in the first half and three or four in the second half. We need to convert more of our chances into goals.

" For the three years Warwick was in the Stanthorpe competition, I played colts and premier games most weeks.

"I liked playing with the premier team when I was in colts and now I just feel one of them. "
