Man in court after disturbance

A 49-YEAR-OLD Warwick man will face Warwick Magistrates Court this morning after a disturbance at the Bony Mountain Recreation Grounds on Saturday afternoon.

Warwick police were called to the grounds at 2pm and arrested the man after a woman was allegedly threatened with what was believed to be a weapon.

"The man has been charged with breaching a domestic violence order," a Warwick police spokesman said.

"A search by police failed to locate the alleged weapon.

"Police are continuing investigations."

There were no injuries reported during the incident.
