Woman head-butted by horse

UPDATE: The 43-year-old woman was tending to the horse when it reportedly head-butted her.

She sustained suspected spinal and head injuries and was flown by the Toowoomba-based CareFlight crew from the Karara State School to the PA Hospital.

She travelled in a stable condition.

 

A CAREFLIGHT helicopter is enroute to the Karara State School after a woman was injured by a horse this morning.

The 43-year-old woman is believed to have been head-butted by a horse, according to a Queensland Emergency Services spokeswoman.
