Woman pulled over on the New England Highway

A WARWICK woman has been fined $403 after being pulled over on the New England Highway at Nobby as her vehicle registration had expired.

Acting Sergeant Tyson Morris, of Clifton police, said the woman, 45, was unaware the registration on the vehicle had expired.

"She has been issued with an infringement notice for driving an unregistered six-cylinder vehicle and fined $403,” he said.

"Police urge drivers of vehicles and riders of motorcycles to ensure registrations are up to date or they can face heavy fines or their insurance will be affected if they are involved in an accident.”

Police intercepted the woman after checking her number plate on a data base and discovering the vehicle was unregistered.
