Woman threatened as supermarket held up by armed robber

A MAN is on the run after holding up a Caboolture South supermarket.

The man entered the Morayfield Road business shortly before 4pm on Sunday and threatened the female employee, intimating he was armed and demanded money.

After taking cash the man left the store and was last seen walking along Morayfield Road near John Street.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

The man is described as Caucasian, 180cm tall and of thin build. He was wearing a black sweat shirt, dark coloured shorts, black beanie and black sunglasses.
