Woman who collapsed in centre airlifted to Brisbane

A WOMAN who collapsed and had to be revived in Rose City Shoppingworld has been airlifted to a Brisbane hospital.

The 75-year-old was helped by centre management and passers-by when she suffered a medical episode outside The Bag Warehouse about 1pm yesterday.

RACQ CareFlight airlifted the woman in a critical condition from Warwick hospital to Royal Brisbane Hospital late last night.

There is no update on her condition.

Warwick police officer-in-charge Sergeant Jamie Deacon said the woman was resuscitated by paramedics.

He praised shoppers and centre management for rushing to the woman's aid.

"They should all be commended for their efforts," he said.

"The fact she's been revived is credit to them."
