Woodenbong Yowie is making a return
THE Woodenbong Yowie Country Market and Music Day is turning seven.
There has been a change of day, due to Anzac Day, and the birthday celebrations will be held on Sunday, April 26, from 8am to 3pm at Woodenbong Public Hall and grounds.
Routinely held on the last Saturday of every month since April 2008 the market has heralded many memories and fun times for locals, visitors and tourists.
Plans are afoot for a party theme and workshops including air-brushing, spinning, patchwork, making wooden mobiles, children's painting and more. A variety of inside and outside stalls will be held in an all-weather venue.
Three cash stall vouchers will be up for grabs, raffles will be held and gifts will be available.
There will also be a visit from the local "Yowie".
Enjoy live music and café seating to sit, relax and enjoy espresso coffee and hot food. A playground will keep the children happy.
