Wool catches fire in Clifton

FLAMES engulfed two piles of wool in Clifton early this morning.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service unit was called to attend the shed on Free rd at 12.40am.

A QFES spokeswoman said the fire was extinguished by 1am and the smouldering wool was monitored before the crew left shortly before 2am.

No injuries or significant property damages were recorded.
