Yeehaw! Hundreds see in the new year at Yangan Rodeo
DESPITE the rain hundreds still headed to Yangan for the Ray Bunch Machinery Rodeo on New Year's Eve.
Organiser Vanessa Butler said she was impressed with the turnout. "We had approximately 700 people, which is around the same number as last year," Mrs Butler said.
"People drank and ate well and the bulls bucked well," she said.
Mrs Butler said New Year's Eve rodeo entries were up on last year's meet with 40 competitors taking to the ring.
