2. You're rushing into Rose City to finish your Christmas shopping

If gift buying has gotten away from you in the lead up, you may be thanking the extended shopping hours at Rose City Shoppingworld.

Woolworths will trade to 9pm today until Thursday, from 8am to midnight on Friday, and 7am to 6pm on Christmas Eve.

Other stores in the centre will open until 5.30pm tomorrow and Friday, until 8.30pm on Thursday, and from 9am to 4pm on Christmas Eve.

There are plenty of other independent retailers on Palmerin St to take a peek at as well.

3. You spend Christmas Eve taking a look at the lights

With an array of Warwick homes proudly displaying Christmas lights this year, a viewing session could take out a whole evening touring the town.

4. You're spending Boxing Day at the Races

There's nothing quite as quintissentially Warwick as spending the day after a big family Christmas at Allman Park.

Head along to the Warwick Turf Club from 11am to enjoy a catch up with friends.

Tickets are $20, with free admission for kids under 16, and there will be food, drinks and ice-cream available to beat the heat.

5. You're dusting off your rodeo boots to see in the New Year

Back again for a second year, the Steele's New Year's Eve Rodeo is sure to be a boot-scootin' great way to see in 2017.

Gates to the Warwick Showgrounds will open from noon on December 31, with tickets avaialble for $20, free for kids under 14.
