Young boy suffers serious burns on Cunningham Hwy

A CHILD was left seriously burnt after getting caught in a Clumber fire last night.

Emergency services rushed to aid the primary-school aged boy who suffered significant lower leg burns at around 7.12pm on Sunday, according to a QAS spokeswoman.

The spokeswoman said it looked as if the boy was involved in an accident involving an outdoor fire at his Cunningham Highway address.

The boy was transported to the Queensland’s Children Hospital in a serious but stable condition, with a critical care paramedic on-board during the transit.
